Portakabin

The Irish Open is one of the European Tour’s marquee events, attracting high profile golfers from across the globe. With a 91-year history, the 2019 event took place in County Clare in July, with sell-out crowds of 20,000 people on the final day of the tournament.

Rearo Commercial were commissioned to transform a Portakabin, modular unit into plush VIP male and female toilet facilities for the event.

Taking into consideration the climate and nature of the shell, as well as the need for a luxury feel, we manufactured an entirely bespoke solution for these washroom environments to meet project specification.

Areas were clad using our new foam blend wall panel core, Nuova Board. which is 100% waterproof and unaffected by drastic temperature change.

The client opted to face their chosen wall panels in Formica décor, Logan Oak, known to give an opulent feel to any washroom with its raised textured surface and mature wood appearance.

We also manufactured matching toilet cubicles in a full height specification, as well as matching vanity units to complement.

And to finish, ceiling areas were clad using planks from our Ancona PVC range to complete the stylish look of both toilet facilities.
