In May 2025, Kwik Fit took another step in reinforcing that commitment by upgrading its dedicated training facility serving Scotland and the north of England. Often referred to as the Kwik Fit Academy, the facility plays a vital role in the business. It is used both to onboard new starters and to upskill experienced technicians as vehicle technology continues to evolve.
The space brings together state-of-the-art teaching rooms with a fully functioning garage environment, complete with a diverse range of vehicles, from brand-new models to cars more than 20–30 years old. This variety ensures technicians gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of vehicles they will encounter in day-to-day operations. As part of the wider refurbishment, the welfare and washroom areas required attention. These are practical, high-use spaces that need to withstand constant daily traffic while maintaining a clean, professional appearance that reflects the standards of the brand.
The brief was straightforward but time-critical: deliver robust, high-quality cubicles, vanity units, and wall panels within a four-week lead time, significantly faster than many competing solutions on the market. With efficiency and reliability at the forefront, Aspire cubicles were specified, complemented by coordinated vanity units and wall panels. The selected finishes, Volcanic Black paired with Light Grey, created a modern, uncluttered aesthetic that sits comfortably within a professional training environment, while also prioritising durability and ease of maintenance. Manufactured and delivered through the Rosyth branch, the products were supplied alongside comprehensive fitting instructions, supporting a smooth and efficient installation process with minimal disruption to the wider refurbishment programme.
With the upgrade complete, the training centre is now fully equipped to support the next generation of Kwik Fit mechanics. The refreshed facilities complement the advanced teaching and workshop spaces, reinforcing Kwik Fit’s long-term investment in skills, quality, and the people who sit at the heart of the business.
