In 2017, The Woodpecker Bar and Restaurant in Lanark changed hands after 36 years. The new owners wanted a fresh look to mark the beginning of a new chapter in the Woodpecker’s history.

Woodpecker Bar area

Celebrity interior designer and Selkie Brand Ambassador, John Amabile, was brought on board to help create an industrial and contemporary feel for the venue. For the bar area, John opted for our hardwearing and easy to clean Selkie wall panels, choosing Textured Concrete to give an opulent edge.

Keeping with the luxury-industrial theme, our Egger worktop in Stone Grey teamed perfectly with the wall panels, while offering a stain resistant laminate surface.

Woodpecker Toilets

Modern, stylish and completely fit for purpose, the combined effect of the Selkie panels and Egger worktops achieved an interior which is aesthetically pleasing, highly practical and easily capable of standing the test of time.
